Battery drain in iOS 14.7.1

Hi,

Battery drain is happening after updated to iOS 14.7, the percent is jumping from 77% to 71% without almost any use, I am using the iPhone 11 Pro normal and my battery health is still on 100%.

Is anyone experiencing this too?

There IS a fix that works, guys. I had battery drain issues after 14.7.1 and now I don’t. First thing you can try: Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings. Then charge it and wait a couple hours. If that doesn’t fix the battery drain, you can connect your iPhone to a Mac (if you have one) and do a system restore via Finder. When that’s complete, set it up as a new phone. If you don’t have a Mac, do an iCloud backup, then go to Settings/General/Reset/Erase all Content and Settings. Set it up as a new phone. Once you’ve set it up as a new phone, if you don’t want to manually redownload your apps and customize your settings, you can restore again from your backup. I don’t think this will reinstall the battery drain “bug.” Give those things a try and let us know if the suggestions did or did not work for you.

I checked the battery usage and a message told me I'd been using the device more than usual since the update: WRONG. I shut it off completely after charging at 10 p.m., turned it on this morning to watch a movie--as usual--and the battery level had plummeted. Usually, the device stays on after I pull the plug on charging and it works on tasks while I sleep. Turning it on must have taxed the battery, eh? Device is 16 months young.

I also experienced battery drain on my iPhone 11 Pro (HK edition with 2 physical SIMs).

What I realize was happening after updating to 14.7.1 is my "primary" line will always appear to have no reception when I wake the phone, it takes a few second for reception to fully restore.

While my "secondary" line has full reception as usual.

I figured, my "primary" line must be constantly trying to establish reception, I was draining the battery at approximately 10% every hour.

Decided to "Reset Network" settings to see if it will fix my issue, I am glad to report that my battery drain was solved with this action.

My "primary" line and "secondary" line are both showing full reception as usual. It's been 5 hours since full charge, and my battery life has not dropped even 1% through my usual usage practices.

My device (Face ID sensors) is over heating after updating iOS to 14.7 (and then 14.7.1). I disabled Face ID and then try to set it up, but now it's unavailable and shows a warning message that iPhone needs to cool down before using it. Battery is draining drastically without any usage. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or software issue. Any solution?
