For no reason I cannot send e-mails via my macbook. I can still receive them though. Ive not changed my password. Why is this ?

For no apparent reason I am unable to send e mails via my macbook but can receive them. It keeps asking for my password which I havnt changed. Why is this ?

Unable to SEND email using Mail app on new iMac I have a new iMac running Mojave and am unable to SEND email using the Mail app. I am asked for the password for my apple account, and am told it isn't good even though the same password accesses everything else I try on this machine, my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, iPad Air2, iPhone, etc. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I am able to RECEIVE email sent to my .Mac address. Thanks, I appreciate any help you might be able to provide. - Roy

MacBook Pro requires a password to send mail My MacBook pro suddenly started asking for a password to send mail. It does not recognize my password. I receive mail just fine. I can send mail on my iPhone and my iMac. Huh? How do I fix this?
