Funds added not showing in Apple balance

I have added funds through my UPI, the transaction has gone through and the amount has been debited but the balance is not displayed, it is still displayed as 0. What should i do?

I also made UPI payment to add fund. It was successful yet the balance was zero. To my horror, when i contacted customer support chat, they don’t know about UPI. They asked whether it is a gift card or what. When i gave them transactions ID, they said that it is useless, we can’t track it. They clearly told me that nothing is received so they can’t help.

UPI is not showing anything wrong. It went to Apple Media Services. Customer support said that it should have gine to Apple Inc. Don’t know what is happening but the amount must have gone somewhere. I signed out and sign in again but no change. If someone knows the exact process through which they get it back, please reply.

Atleast in androids we didn’t have anything between our UPI and the merchant asking payment. Smoothest payment process like UPI is made so complicated by apple. They should have taken care of our problem. We are paying huge amount for that.

Click on this link to 'Check your Apple ID balance' --> https://support.apple.com/HT202359

- If you think that your Apple ID balance is incorrect, sign out of the App Store or iTunes Store, then sign back in and check the balance again. If you still think that the balance is incorrect, check your purchase history to see if a subscription renewed or you bought an item.

Thanks for reply… but i am wondering what to say to the bank…i mean Apple media services asked the money with my permission and the transaction was also successful…so its the Apple services to blame for… from bank side, everything is okay… if i push anything in the bank, they would make sure that Apple service don’t deduct payment in the future like that. But that would create issue for me in the future if i try to add fund next time…

Did you face the same issue ?. What exactly did you do for your case?

Even I did the transaction through UPI my transaction was successful but still I haven’t received the funds, and even after talking to apple support I did not get the refund. My bank said the amount has been successfully credited to the beneficiary but I don’t know what to do now? Whom to contact? Because the apple chat person was clueless and constantly told me to check with my bank.

Realize that despite this being the age of speedy computers, transactions may take a finite amount of time to process. Even within the Apple system a transaction may take up to 48 hours to clear ( https://support.apple.com/HT204084 ).

If you still have problems:

Click here --> https://support.apple.com/choose-country-region Select your country, then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

I am facing the same issue, apple support couldn't do much either while they did try their best from their end; according to them they never 'received' the funds though they acknowledged that I had initiated the payment and the payment itself was 'successful' from the UPI app(Paytm) and the bank(ICICI) but on their end it was an 'error'.

Even after 72 hours neither the purchase history nor the funds showed up. So now I have filed two separate complaints against the transaction through my bank and the NPCI's dispute redressal mechanism.

I don't think there is much to worry about, the funds will come back even if it takes a few days but I don't understand why have they continued to keep this specific payment method(UPI) active when there is a high error rate. It is a big mishandling to be blamed on the payments team at Apple and I made it clear when closing my support ticket. I suggest other users to convey the same.

I also performed another payment today, this time through net banking and the subsequent funds with the accompanied purchase history showed up within seconds. So again, emphasizing that the issue is most probably with their UPI handle and they should temporarily disable it unless they resolve it eventually. Till then I would definitely suggest staying away from UPI when it comes to payment for Apple services even though I appreciate that they have added it as an option for Indian users.

Happened with me yesterday. Transferred Rs 2000 through net banking in Apple ID Funds, amount deducted from bank immediately but I am yet to receive the same in Apple ID. It’s been 24 hours and still no luck. Talked to Apple support and my banks support, Apple says it’s pending from bank side, bank says transaction was 100% successful and provided me PNR number to convey the same to Apple. Conveyed that too…but still no luck.

Guys I suggest you to totally ignore Net banking and UPI as of now to avoid any stress. Didn’t expected this from Apple. Net Banking transaction should reflect immediately.

Even I faced the same issue. I did the UPI transaction on 30 Oct to add money to apple's wallet. Apple team says that due to a delay in authorization from the bank, money has been auto reversed. I contacted the bank and UPI NPCI they are saying that there is no issue. Money has been transferred to the recipient. I never expected this type of service from apple. I insisted apple give written confirmation through an email what was the issue faced and they are not able to for that too. Money deducted from HDFC bank account and BHIM apps UPI transaction says approved and successful too.
