iPod Nano 6th gen acting up

I have an 8gb model of an iPod Nano which for some reason since yesterday got very hard to be read by my windows 10 PC. I've checked my data cable and USB ports and they have no problems, and when Windows finally detects my iPod it won't show up on iTunes, which is strange because my iPod syncing iTunes software is up to-date.

My second problem is that once this problem started happening, all the audio files I have transferred onto my iPod via iTunes stopped showing on my iPod, reading :"No Music; You can sync music from iTunes" although when you go to the iPod info section it says "475MB available" meaning my audio files are still there and when I connect it to my TV it still shows the files in the "Ipod Control\Music" section and are playable from my TV but still not from my iPod.
