does the warranty covers this issue on my screen


Hello, when the screen is showing dark colors I can see those purple lines. It's not dirt as I've cleaned multiple times my screen.


I realized that it might be an issue with my M1 mac's screen.


Does the default warranty covers this? what could have caused it?

Get Apple to take a look. If it is a manufacturing defect and it is within the warranty period (or AppleCare if you have that) then I would think it would be covered, but since this is a user-to-user support forum nothing we say here necessarily says what Apple will say.


Genius Bar appointment - This is tricky to get to directly. Go to https://www.apple.com/retail/geniusbar/ > Get hardware help. Select your hardware and continue selecting options requiring replacing parts until you see "Bring in for Repair" --> Sign in with Apple ID
