iPhone 12

I recently bought the iPhone 12 and I’ve only had one problem. Between the black border of the screen and the aluminium frame I’m getting spots of light coming through the very edge of the black border the glass on top is completely fine but it’s like the black border is slowly chipping away letting more light out. Does anyone why this is happening?
