I recently bought the iPhone 12 and I’ve only had one problem. Between the black border of the screen and the aluminium frame I’m getting spots of light coming through the very edge of the black border the glass on top is completely fine but it’s like the black border is slowly chipping away letting more light out. Does anyone why this is happening?

That is going to be hard to see from a screen shot. Your iPhone 12 is still under Apple's 1YR Limited Warranty. Take advantage of it and have your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and resolution.
