iPhone - find my phone

My iPhone has find my phone turned on and share my location turned on but when I couldn't find my phone this morning and logged into iCloud my phone was not listed in the devices that I could track. Also the person I have share my location says when she logs on to check, she can not find me.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

When did you last use your phone? Is it turned on and charged?

Check your privacy preferences:

Settings > Privacy > (ensure location services is on)

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Share My Location > (ensure share my location, this device and FindMy are on).

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > (ensure that FindMy lists "while using app" and that precise location are on)
