I did not have any issues with battery in watch os 7.5, or 7.6, but since I went to 7.6.1, 50% of the life is gone. Meaning my battery used to last from 7am until 10pm, without doing a workout or streaming music. By 10pm it would be about 35%, now it goes from 100% to 50% in like 4 hours.

Apple needs to fix this ASAP. There are 4 watches in my house and all have the same issue. Waiting for 4 days didn’t fix anything. Unpairing and erasing didn’t work either.
So frustrating!
Just to add one more unhappy person to the list.
I tried the “erasing/unpairing solution” and it didn’t work.
It’s a shame that apple doesn’t address this issue, nor even recognize it officially.

I have the same problem with AW 4- 44mm with 7.6.1 and iphone XS max with 14.7.1
9 hours of use before turning off completely, incredible!!! I hope Apple fix soon this issue very quicly!!
Nothing can help to get rid of this except a new update . i tried all the way to solve the battery drain issue , but i can't . apple please release a update to solve this problem.
Has anyone received an answer yet to this problem. Unparing/erasing and pairing has not fixed the issue. I can’t even wear the watch for 4 hrs without it complete draining. This is beyond ridiculous
Same here. Watch Series 5, 44mm. Running 7.6.1. The watch is currently useless. Drains from 100% to 0% in just a few hours without doing anything on it. Tried all the fixes posted - no luck.
Somebody know of the battery drain issue will be fixed with watch os 8?
Tried that and it didn’t work.
7.6.1 is definitely an issue. I got 2 days out of my watch and now about 1/3 of that.
kinda useless to tell me how I slept when I have to charge it every night!
I installed the most recent update and reset the watch and it did it help correct the battery issue. Apple please fix this. Others this watch is useless.
The latest update for Apple Watch 7.6.2 seems to have resolved the issue. My hope was this was an intended fix because of it wasn’t, the likelihood for a future patch breaking this again is high.
Apple needs to fix this problem. I love Apple products but I need my watch to last longer than 10 hours. I will switch back to Garmin if I have these problems.
Yes, i did and it still is draining fast. I am really disappointed. This was my first Apple Watch and I really liked it until this issue. My FitBit lasted days. I think I am going back to that.
