I did not have any issues with battery in watch os 7.5, or 7.6, but since I went to 7.6.1, 50% of the life is gone. Meaning my battery used to last from 7am until 10pm, without doing a workout or streaming music. By 10pm it would be about 35%, now it goes from 100% to 50% in like 4 hours.

FWIW, in some cases, unpairing the watch, completely erasing it, then pairing and restoring the backup will resolve the battery draining issue after an update. (Simply unpairing and pairing again may not work.)

Also, some people have found that simply waiting a few days after an update resolves the battery draining problem.
Mine was doing the same and I didn’t do anything with it, I thought I would wait a few days to see if it fixed itself and it did after 4 days cheers

Exactly the same here ~ 50% of battery life gone since the last update watchOS7.6.1.
Hi if you don’t do anything at all it fixes itself in 3 to 4 days.
It fixes itself in three to four days if you do nothing to it cheers
Well it fixed itself after a few days as I posted above but lasted for all of 1 day. Now it’s back to the battery drain that occurs after this last update. Apple please fix this!
Agreed! This is such an inconvenience and very frustrating.
I turned off my watch because it's useles. The battery max capacity fell down from 91% to 86% in a few days. I can't use it. I'am affraid of it will kill my watch.

Apple needs to fix this ASAP. There are 4 watches in my house and all have the same issue. Waiting for 4 days didn’t fix anything. Unpairing and erasing didn’t work either.
So frustrating!
Just to add one more unhappy person to the list.
I tried the “erasing/unpairing solution” and it didn’t work.
It’s a shame that apple doesn’t address this issue, nor even recognize it officially.

I have the same problem with AW 4- 44mm with 7.6.1 and iphone XS max with 14.7.1
9 hours of use before turning off completely, incredible!!! I hope Apple fix soon this issue very quicly!!
Nothing can help to get rid of this except a new update . i tried all the way to solve the battery drain issue , but i can't . apple please release a update to solve this problem.
