Getting insert key functionality on Mac m1

Hi!

I am using insert key extensively through Microsoft remote desktop as most of my work is in 'Vim' text editor. As most of us are aware the text copied is inserted through shift + insert key combination. Also to get the insert key functionality I purchased Logitech MX Keys but still, the key is not working. I tried Fn + return/ enter but it doesn't work out for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
