After iOS 14.7.1, face ID is still broken

"Face ID has been disabled. A problem was detected with the TrueDepth camera."

memojis, camera etc all of that still works. It's only faceID that doesn't work. It stopped working when I updated to 14.7 and continues to not work after updating to 14.7.1

This is NOT a hardware failure. Tons of users are reporting their faceID only stopped working once they updated to 14.7

Hard resets, resetting faceID, wiping the entire phone, none of the users report being able to fix the issue once they have updated to 14.7 or above.

Same issue here! I have done everything and Face ID is still not working. This is a software issue and needs to be fixed!!

Ok.. people there is no word from apple in regards this... unless I missed it. If am right... how can we take our grievances further so that this is addressed.

Just curious, did anyone have their screen replaced at some point? My true depth camera is not working now with 14.7.1, but worked fine before, even after the screen replacement.

Yes. I had mine replaced the screen 3 years ago and had been working fine, until I update 14.7.1

Yeah, problem comes out of nowhere as much as we are being so cherishing and caring to our iphone

We hold them gently, use with care, then suddenly problem occurs

IT IS NOT. As I've already stated, many many users online are reporting their face ID breaks as soon as they update. It was working perfectly fine for years, and then they update and it immediately stops working. There was no time to drop it or do anything else. There was even a report of one user who went to the trouble of downgrading their phone before apple stopped signing the old version and and his face ID started working again.
