Apple Watch calorie counts

On average I’ve been burning around 800 active calories a day with out exercise, however since Monday this has changed and now my watch doesn’t seem to show me burning as much despite doing a minimum of 10,000 steps a day. Since Monday I’ve done an average of 500 active calories a day. Can anyone help me in understanding why there is such a massive difference when there has been no difference in my daily routine.

If you don't exercise, you won't burn any active calories.
