Busy setting for calendar events

How do I get back the option to show as busy or free when I create an event in my calendar? I am on iOS 14.6, as is my husband. He has the option. I do not. I need this option back to prevent all day events (which are not truly making me unavailable all day) from blocking scheduling for my clients. I have been unable to find a place to update or manage this setting. It seems to have just disappeared from my calendar quite some time ago. I just recently realized that my husband still has this capability.

Greetings, Carla_E.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We can understand why you’d want to have the option to Show As Busy in your calendar.

When you create a new calendar event, the option for “Show As” should appear between “Alert” and “Add attachment”. Create and edit events in Calendar on iPhone

If you are still missing the option, Restart your iPhone and update your iOS: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

We hope this helps! Thanks for being a part of the community.

Best wishes.
