Please, my safari 14.1.2 keep automatically clearing my history cookies and and my main profile picture has suddenly change. I do not know why that is so and how to fix it to it normal stage? Should I re-install the how OS again to fix any bug(s) or missing files on that system?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Close Safari first
On desktop go to GO and then GO TO FOLDER
Copy and paste this ~/Library/Safari/Databases
A folder called _indexedDB
Open _indexedDB
See another folder called v1 and open it
The folder inside the v1 can be Drag and Drop to Trash
Launch Safari again and check if all is ok

This is a new issue for me. The changes that has occur is the frequent downloading of clearcookies textedit file, and when I open it, I have "Not Available" message. When my internet is one and I surf the net, I keep having such automatic downloads from Safari.
Upon seeing this I searched online and I try to use this help https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8385669 but I still have the same problem.
Please, is your question answered? Any advise on how to address it?

Each website one visits may or may not load their " Clear Cookies " ( Everlast cookies ). Short of configuring Safari to Block ALL Cookies ( which will really hamper surfing totally ) not too much more can be done IMHO.
I find that the Safari menu > Clear History… Clear [ all history ] [ Clear History ] sequence removes all cookies including any located in the /Users/username/Library/Safari/Databases/__IndexedDB/V1 sub-folder. I opened that V1 folder in Finder noting that Adobe had dropped a Creative Cloud folder hierarchy in there. When I used the preceding Clear History sequence, the V1 folder contents was emptied as I watched it in Finder.
macOS 11.5.1.
Further perspective - use two Chartered Backs and a well know Credit Credit Card company and do all banking on-line. Both Banks issue Everlast cookies. The point being - just about any site visited may issue the same.
Clarification. One should only clear browser history and caches on a new launch of Safari without any website loaded. If a website is loaded, it will detect that its cookie has been removed and set it again.
Is this a New Issue - if so what changes have occurred ?? Is this an Old Issue - if so what actions have been taken to resolve the issue ??
