Instagram "Share as" missing features

Hello All,

While sharing an image from the galley app of iphone to instagram I get only one "share as" option that is share as a post in instagram, I'm using iPhone 11. However my friend is getting multiple options such share as DM, post & stories. I'm inserting image for reference.

Anyone has any idea on how to get these options?. This feature is super useful for me as I've transitioned to ios from android recently. I'm surprised that the above sharing options are available for few iPhone users only.
