hi, i am trying to restore my iphone x using the up/down volume button and the side button, the apple logo appears but then the screen flashes and it dissapears

My iphone shut down today, i thought it was just low battery but now am home and cannot recharge, i get the restore screen. when i try and restore (up/down volume then side button) the apple logo appears, screen flashes and then dissappears

every time my iphone 13 dies it tells me to restore it and wont turn on also my volume buttons and my power button hardly work i think its the device in general my phone dies and takes me to the support apple thing i have to restore it in order for it to turn on and my power button works and then doesnt work same as the volume button its stuck on the restore thing

That is not how you "restore" it. That's how you reboot it.

You restore it by plugging it into a computer and restoring iOS using iTunes or Finder.
