iPad Air 3rd gen blackouts
Any reason to stick with Apple? My iPad is 3rd generation and a known defect - screen blackout - began this spring. The manufacturers defect has been recognized by Apple. I was given information for an authorized Apple Service provider to have the problem taken care of. They checked it out then contacted Apple and received a reply stating that the two-year warranty had elapsed two months earlier and my iPad was no longer covered. Apple's admitted manufacturing fault yet they will not stand by their product. I have been a loyal Apple customer for decades; now I wonder if they can be trusted.
