Anyone have issues with warranty?

Anyone else have issues with Apple warranty?

I have Apple Watch 6, bought 6 months ago, after the last update it shuts itself off then tries to reboot. Over and over. Sent watch in and got denied warranty, saying it was abused because scratches on the side of watch. My watch is not working, this should be covered by warranty.

I asked them what is wrong with it, I want to know and how many other watches have had this problem. They say the tech didn’t say, only said it’s abused and no coverage. Watch has never been abused, dropped, I wear it all the time unless charging. Please help

No, you asked for help, and no one here could help you with this issue. Even if you wanted to know if anyone else had this occur, and if you search here you will find where warranty is denied for several different devices for several different reasons, it does not apply to your case. Each case is decided on its own merit and Apple is the one that decides. What anyone here thinks does not mean anything.

No, I do not work for Apple. Just because you do not like the response does not discount its worth. What difference would it make if I said that I sent my Watch in for service, or my iPhone for service and Apple denied it for the same reason. Would that change your experience, or the outcome? And this is a public forum, and as long as I do not violate the Terms of Use, I can respond to a thread.

The point is, I’m gonna put it out everywhere I can, Apple doesn’t stand behind there products and warranty. Best Buy Geek Squad had pictures of watches that voids warranty, but they don’t let you know this before you buy. Normal wear with someone who actually has to do manual labor will get scratches on the outside of the case, and scratches should not cause a watch to not work. DON’T BUY APPLE PRODUCTS

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user support forum and Apple does not participate here. No one here can assist you with this. You need to work with Apple.
