iMovie deleting fragment
Hi There ! When I’m deleting a clip/ audio file, while overlaying 2 videos, both of them always disappear. They seem to be attached to each other. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

The clips are in fact attached to each other with a little coupling, usually located at the left edge of the clip.
Whenever you delete a clip from the main timeline, all attached video clips and audio clips will be deleted with it. However, you can delete a video clip from the upper time line, that is attached to a video clip below it, without deleting the clip below it. Also, you can delete an audio clip from the audio well that is attached to a video clip above it, without deleting the clip above it.
With video clips in the upper timeline you can slide them over so that the attachment coupling slides over onto another clip. Then you can delete the clip in the main timeline without deleting the clip above it.
With audio clips, put your cursor on the audio clip and, while pressing down, pull the clip straight down to a lower well until you see the coupling pull off of the video clip above. Then you can delete the video clip without also deleting the audio clip. Another way is to press down the Option and Command keys and click along the audio clip. The coulpling will move to wherever to click. Thus you can move the coupling to another clip above, and then delete the original clip without deleting the audio clip as well.
