iPhone and iPad suddenly can't sen Earthlink mail
Today, suddenly, I'm unable to send mail from my EarthLink account from either my iPad (8th generation) or iPhone11 (running iOS 14.7.1 and 14.6, respectively) I get the message "The connection to the server "smtpauth.earthlink.net" failed" with instructions to check the account settings. But the settings seem fine, nothing has changed, and there is no trouble receiving email. I've tried shutting down and restarting, and on one of the devices, re-inputting the account's outgoing mail server settings. This is a new problem; both devices could send a day earlier.
