iPhone X storage capacity varying and fast battery discharge

Hello fellows,

I have an iPhone X with 64 GB storage and I have an iCloud account with 2TD capacity, where I have lots of things both personal and business. Recently, I am observing, seems to me, after I updated to IOS 14.7.1, that battery is discharging faster and a curious and unpleasant thing is happening: iPhone available storage capacity varies significantly during the day. What I observed was a minimum of 5 GB and a maximum of 24 GB, sometimes going up and down during the day. I eliminated several apps and reduced significantly WhatsApp storage space occupation, but the problem remains. Would that be caused by automatic downloads to iPhone from iCloud? Can I stop/minimize that?

Thanks Paulo

iPhone X
