Can't sign in to my iPhone 4 on iOS 7.1.2

I'm trying to use my iPhone 4 and i need to sign in. I turned on TFA for my Apple ID and i get the code on my Mac, but it won't accept it. It says to put the code after the password, but however i try it (putting a space between the password and the code/ not putting one, putting the space in between the numbers/ not) it won't work. I saw the other post about this, but it didn't help. Could anyone help?

Thanks for posting your question in Apple Support Communities.

You will need to enter your Apple ID password followed immediately by the verification code with no space in-between the two. If that does not work, try resetting your Apple ID password using this article: If you forgot your Apple ID password.
