While your phone may say the software is up to date, check the bottom of the page where the update to 15 is available. In details about the update you will see it allows you to download and store vaccine and lab results in Health app. Worked for me, hope it does for you.

Did not find this response helpful. Now with Covid 19 immunize records being put on a QR code in Saskatchewan so we can fly, or enter certain businesses, we need to know that our QR code is working BEFORE we show up at the airport. I keep scanning my immunization QR code and it keeps taking me to Apple.com com to read a lovely advertisement about Apples’ Health app! All I want to do is scan my QR code to be sure it is working and accurate, as apparently some people had the wrong info show up on their QR code. This should be as simple as pointing the camera at the code providing you have the QR code scanner activated in settings. It seems according to this thread, that it has not worked for some time. Or it does work but we are unaware of what steps to take to make it work. Please advise as flight leaves in two weeks.
I have the same problem too, Qr code goes to apple.com Health app. This is ridiculous that Apple can't fix this with the QR code needed to prove covid vaccinations. This should be a priority fix for apple during these covid times.
Same issue but now it is February 2022.... My iPhone 12 is fine captured the QR code and placed it in the health app BUT my husbands won't capture the QR code - it just sends us to apple.com. Is there a fix?

No, Apple, your “help” is not helpful at all.
I do believe Apple wastes more of my time than not.
Both my iPad and my iPhone are updated to the latest 14.8.

I have the same issue! Yet when my husband scans my vaccine QR code, it brings up my details.
I thought that was the issue, but neither one of my kids has 15.1 installed and their code read correctly with their camera.
The upgrade didn’t work for my iPad….worked for my phone.

When I scan a vaccine QR code, the camera opens a page UC the Chrome browser, not in Apple Health. Running iOS version 15.1.1.
