I updated my iphone to the current 14.7.1 today and now my phone says No Service even though i pay for Verizon. I’ve tried the following-
Restart network and my iphone
airplane mode on and off
disconnected from cellular data then reconnected, almost anything people have suggested.

iPhone 12 Pro is now a useless iPod touch after new update. No cell service whatsoever and it shows that I have bars and a 5G network. WHAT IS GOING ON!!

What did the Apple Technician say when you clicked Get Support at the top of this page or took it to an Apple Store genius bar?
Update: weirdly enough at home my cell service is dead. So I decided to leave and bam service works. I’ll give it another day before contacting. I just don’t get what could be the cause if it should jump to the next available cell tower in my location
I’m glad switching worked for you. My wife and I are in AT&T and both having the problem on a 12 and XS. Noting seems to help including a new SIM. Maybe we should switch to T-mobile to keep the universe in balance ;)
I think I found the fix! Here is what worked to restore service and stop the daily intermittent SIM failure errors after the 14.7.1 update to my XS and my wife’s 12. We are using eSIMs on AT&T. I removed our plans using Settings>General>Reset>Remove all cellular plans. Then I added them back using the QR codes on our carrier’s eSIM setup cards. This appears to have completely resolved our problem.
Before I tried this we had driven ourselves crazy rebooting, erasing cache and network settings, turning airplane mode on and off, wifi on and off, near and away from our wifi network, gotten a new physical SIM card for my wife’s phone, turned roaming and wifi calling on and off. Nothing worked until I removed all cellular plans.
Thank you for the reply but that was something used in 2018, it wouldn’t work now i don’t think.

iPhone 12 Pro Max. No cellular service since updating to 14.7.1. None of the standard Apple protocol work for more than a few minutes before I loose network connection again.
I am finding doing a network reset in the settings helps.
Same issues... rebooted the phone, allowed to get into configs to enable wifi calling. Then did factory reset, seems to be working now.
Same in my new iPhone 12 mini. VZW store guy found no problems.
Several hours after resetting to factory setting, issue has came back.
Same issue, 11 Pro here. Also have 30 GB of storage in “other” category since the update. No cell service and no capacity for photos. Glad I have this expensive paper weight in my pocket.
