Unbearable stuttering when watching Apple TV+

Same issue with Apple + streaming on Roku. For at least the last few months can not watch anything without constant pauses or skips. Every other app on the Roku Premiere 4K works fine.

I thought the cable solved the issue. Did not. I cant bear it anymore. Goodbye apple tv. Its a shame because it seems like they are going to continue to add good content.

Me too- Apple TV, high quality HDMI cable, quality internet connection, and choppy video only on Apple+ while other streaming apps work great. Hard to watch.

For MacBook users: Exit fullscreen, keep it windowed.

That's what helped me eventually. Whenever I switch back to full screen, the stutter returns (usually when some background music kicks in)

Have similar problems for the las tree weeks with two of the apple tv that I owned. Using ethernet did not make any improvement. Problem continues.

I don't have any apple product other than the app they wrote for roku. So, your suggestion won't help.

Exactly! The server has to be the problem.

that’s why these discussion boards are useless unless Apple monitors them and does some internal checks.

I’m considering giving up on Morning News. It’s stutters so much.

As others have said, it's got to be Apple's server. It would be interesting to take a poll on geographic regions and see if this problem is trending more in certain areas. Some good news; my issues with the buffering seem to have cleared up now for about the last month and don't happen any more. Back to normal with no intervention on my part other than updating to the latest AppeTV OS which at the time, had no effect.
