Will it damage my ipod classic battery if I leave it on charge plugged in ?

Often it just sit6on the dock playing music even though it's fully charged.

I don't think that presents a problem. The Li-Po battery doesn't have the same issue that Ni-Cd batteries used to have with partial discharge and recharge.
