Handoff from Safari Mac to iPhone not working

Hi

There was a post on this, but it seemed to have closed with no solution.

I was having trouble with Handoff between the mac and the iPhone. Both devices have handoff enabled both on the same network and bluetooth.

This is what I did; turned off bluetooth, wifi. Signed into iCloud and Apple ID and signed out. (it seemed to help with the handoff from iPhone to Mac. Just not from Mac to iPhone.) Restarted both devices.

I can handoff from mac to iPhone with notes, pages etc, just not Safari.

So handoff works from iPhone to Mac

Handoff also works from Mac to iPhone except for Safari.

Anyone have this issue with the mac's safari not working during handoff to iPhone?
