AirPods Max won't go into sleep mode fully in the case.

Hello,

My AirPods Max won't go into sleep mode fully in the case. They grab a Bluetooth connection when I don’t want them to.

I could be listening to something from my iPhone speakers and all of sudden I lose audio. But not really, the AirPods Max in another room has auto-connected while in the case, supposedly in low power mode. Very annoying as a lot of times I have to disable Bluetooth in the iPhone to keep the audio from continuously jumping to the AirPods Max.

Hi,

Yes, I've done the reset several times and it doesn't seem to help.

The issue doesn't happen every time but often enough to be annoying :)

When I manually 'disconnect' the Maxs from my phone's Bluetooth settings it will stay disconnected. I'd just like to not have to do this extra step. The case doesn't seem to fully initiate low-power mode.

I've also checked for debris.
