iPhone 11- small crack in screen, water damage

My daughter has a small crack in her screen and she got splashed with water. The water made it into the crack.

The phone will only display the flashing apple sign that you see when shutting down or restarting the phone. She put it in rice overnight last night and this morning it indicated that it needed charging, so she thought it was better, but then once it charged it changed back to the flashing apple sign.

Ant thoughts on if this can be saved?
