after big sur upgrade to 11.5.2, logitech 720p camera is not working

Just upgraded and now my logitech camera (connected by USB) is not working in zoom, facetime or photo booth. Just see a blank white screen when video is on. checked security and privacy and camera is turned on. Macbook air camera does work. What else can I try? thanks

Check for a software update from Logitech. They seem to love creating kernel extensions for their stuff, and they are generally rather fragile which causes them to become incompatible with just about every update. I have no idea why they would use a kernel extension (if they do), but I wouldn't put it past them to create one for really no reason at all. They install them for mice and keyboards, so I don't imagine they would leave cameras out of the mix.
