How do you share icloud and not get each others phone calls and contacts?

If you share an Apple ID with another device then overlap of data (Contacts, etc) will happen. If the devices are used by two different people then both should have their own Apple IDs and then consider using ➔ Family Sharing which will prevent the data overlap however will still provide other benefits.
