My stolen phone pinged me a "A sound was played on iPhone" email - what should I do?

My phone was stolen last night and I enabled Find my iPhone and set it to wipe if it comes on. I get this message tonight saying a sound was played and I can see a location in the Find my iPhone app in iCloud. I reported it to the police when it happened but am I supposed to take action with this message as it gives me a location, eg report again to police or to Apple?
