How do I add an existing Apple ID to Mac?

I want to add as an additional user with Administrator status another person, who already has an Apple ID.

These instructions (https://support.apple.com/en-hk/guide/mac-help/mtusr001/mac ) only advise as to how to create a new user with a new Apple ID.

Any help?

Can I use Apple ID after computer is setup? I have a new Mac Pro, being set up from Time Machine on Ext Drive. Everything was going fine, until it asked for Apple ID. Somehow, it's having a problem registering it, even though it's correct with Password. The wheel has been spinning forever, I don't know if I click Set Up Later, just to continue with the process instead of waiting for the wheel to stop spinning, whether I won't be able to register to the existing Apple ID? I want to make sure I'm connected with that ID, for Cloud, ITune, etc. Can I just click Set Up Later to continue setting it up and then come back to that later on, once computer is running, without any issues?

Adding new user to iMac 24 Hi all, I have recently acquired an iMac 24 from my mother, who has since passed away. She purchased the computer in November last year and had set up her login details, but I don’t have these. when I turn the computer on the login page appears with no other options available. Is there any way I can add my own Apple ID or reset the computer to factory settings to allow me to set up my Apple ID?

Go through the steps to create a new admin account, then ignore the steps to create a new Apple ID. Instead use the Apple ID that the other person has.
