Have 'reset' the defaults on the keyboard shortcuts, but to no avail

Please use https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201361 for instructions. If you still have trouble, please restart in Safe Mode ( Safe Mode Reset ) and then restart normally and finally re-test.
