Yosemite to Catalina on MacBook Pro 2012
I am upgrading my mid 2012 MacBook Pro after a malware issue so I can install Malware Bytes latest vers which requires Sierra or higher. I thought I'd upgrade to Catalina while I'm at it. I readi can skip and do Catalina without an intermediary.
I have the bootloader ready and have no back up set up for this which is fine. Is this a complete reinstall or simply an update of the OS. Any input would've appreciated before I attempt this. Thx
