Setting Passcodes

Could we please get the setting of passcodes fixed? I like I’m sure the majority of other users use patterns in order to remember passcodes when unlocking their iOS devices.

The keyboard used for keying in passcodes

Is different than the keyboard used for setting up passcodes

If someone hasn’t memorized the numerical passcode it makes it difficult to type in the pattern on a different keyboard.

Why does the change passcode screen not match the enter passcode screen? When I enter my passcode on my iphone, the grid is the 3x3 + 0 grid. But since my security policy automatically requires me to change my passcode every few months, it comes up automatically. But the input method is completely different. I have to enter my passcode on a QWERTY keyboard with 1234567890 across the top. Why would you design it that way?

how can i get my passcode back to numeric? the passcode options are not available and the I am unable to put in a numeric passcode as I am only able to put in an alphanumeric passcode. The passcode options to change this are not available to me. I’ve tried other ways for the passcode options to appear but they have completely disappeared. I am also unable to turn my passcode off as it is grayed out. This is becoming an inconvenience and I would be grateful if someone would be able to provide to some assistance to resolve this. Many thanks
