Apple Pencil 2 not connecting after installing iPadOS 15 beta

I am writing this to see if anyone else is having this issue. I installed iPadOS 15 beta 5 and my Pencil stopped working. I unpaired it from Bluetooth and it won't pair. I went back to iPadOS 14.7.1 and it's still not working. I only got the "Apple Pencil" blinking pop-up. I then reset my iPad Air 4 (contents and settings) and now I am getting the rolling Apple Pencil pop-up which stays for a while and then disappears.


I talked to Apple Support and they want me to send the iPad to them. My theory is that this will be fixed when Apple releases a new official version of iPadOS... but if that doesn't fix it I'll have to send it.

The Terms of Use that govern participation within these Support Communities prohibit discussion of beta-release software. When signing-up to Apple’s one of Apple’s beta programmes you will also have accepted that there is no support - and, by the very nature of beta software, you will have acknowledged that software issues may be present.


Your only option here is to restore your iPad to a production version of iPadOS.
