I phone back up

Hello, I did a back up on my phone and it didnt ask me for a password, now that I got a new phone and I am trying to do a back up on it, it is asking for a password. What are my options?

iPhone 11, iOS 14

If you have encrypted backup configured, you can always backup without a password.

But to restore from that backup, you need the password.
