Red button to hang up on incoming call does nothing. To disconnect I have to power off the phone. I don't have an image of what I see, will have to wait until the 3rd time. Tried to swipe up, nothing happens. Any suggestions?

From our understanding, when you get an incoming call, you have to power off your iPhone in order to disconnect the call, is that right?
Does this happen with the Apple Phone app? Does it happen with multiple contacts or a specific contact? Does this happen with outgoing calls as well?
You mentioned trying to swipe up but nothing happens, is the screen unresponsive during this time?
If you press the side button, does the call disconnect?
