How to download books purchased onto new iPad mini?

Where did you buy these books from?

If from the iBooks application, see here: link-> Redownload books and audiobooks - Apple Support

If from another provider such as Amazon, then use their app, and sign into your Amazon account on the App to get access to your purchases.

The new iPad would have to be using the same Apple ID used for the original purchase of the iBooks.
