Logitech SilentTouch and Mouse Suddenly Undetected by New MacBook Air

I purchased a new M1 MacBook Air two weeks ago. Last week I purchased a Logitech SilentTouch keyboard and mouse duo package. Both connect through a USB. They connected perfectly after unpacking and have been connecting just fine for the past week.

Today, all of a sudden, they stopped working. I thought this might be related to the BigSur update I needed to install, but even after I installed this update, they are not working.

Neither the keyboard or mouse are recognized by my MacBook. I believe it is a problem with the Air itself given that I tried to connect a different mouse with USB and it still doesn't work. When I go into System Preferences > Mouse/Keyboard, I get a waiting signal and a message that no mouse or keyboard is detected.

It's not related to my update, and it's not related to my adapter (Satechi), given that when I plug other USB devices into my adapter, it works.

Any help with this issue, which I believe is a system problem, would be much appreciated!

Hello erinhall89! Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your Logitech keyboard and mouse are no longer recognized by your Mac. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.

It's possible that your accessories require more power than they're currently getting through your setup. The following resource can help determine if that's the case: If a Mac accessory needs more power or is using too much power

Logitech also has a support page for their keyboards and mice that may provide some guidance not his issue, as well: Keyboards - Logitech

Make it a great day!
