Apple TV series 2 stuck with change in network id

I’ve updated my network SID and now my series 2 Apple TV is unresponsive. How do I get it working in order to reset its network credentials?

When you select network settings, is there an option to connect to “Other” networks? Then use that to enter both the new SSID and password. You may need to let it time out trying to connect to the previously known network and failing.

As a last resort, you can reset the device to factory settings through Settings. That should erase any memorized network credentials too.
