AirPods opening up and tearing apart.

One of my AirPod has begun to open up and tear apart despite this I still used them as they do work and produce great sound, but it can be very irritating to close them in the middle of song or a movie. I just want to know if there’s a way I could fix this my self as I can’t afford to buy a new one right now.
