Getting "Do not have Permission" when initiating a scan
I a couple of months ago I updated my Late 2015 MBP with Big Sur and and didn't realize that my ability to scan from my computer was broken. I have an Epson WF-7720. Yesterday I updated to Mac OS 11.5.2.
I have deleted and re-added my printer several time as I went through several attempts to fix the issue. I have also restarted several times, just in case that was required, to no avail.
Despite Epson's listing of driver on their WF-7720 page, that driver does not work.
I have searched Epson's Support site and found lots of references to their ICA Driver and eventually found it on the Epson Canada and UK sites, but they are apparently not compatible with the WF-7720. I know because I tried.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Has Apple has in the past delivered Epson Print Drivers have they acknowledged the problem and are they working on a fix?
