I recently confirmed an in-game purchase for some gems (for the players out there: Blessings of the Welkin Moon) over at Genshin Impact. The game gave me the greenlight & gems, but when I look back at my Apple ID it states that it is "pending".
What could be the reason? My cards are working fine (I pay iCloud storage and Apple Music every month) but I still tweaked my cards just in case.
Any suggestions?

To confirm, did the amount get withdrawn from your financial institution on file successfully? If so, and since you mentioned you did receive the in-app purchase, it may be nothing to worry about. It may just take some time to update in the purchase history of your account. Today, the game's customer service responded with "While the purchases mostly are instant on the App and the developer received payment from Apple at the same time, Apple may record, group transactions, and charge Traveler on a different dates. (payment in pending)".
To test this, I actually purchased another small app on the Store, and truth be told: it worked! The amount for both the app and the in-game purchase I made a week ago were withdrawn from my account (the bank sent me messages too!). Still, though, Apple shows both as "pending".
Super weird, I have never had this before, and I also pay for Apple Music & iCloud services.
