I traded in my old Mac yesterday. Prior to trade in, I backed up my old Mac to my G drive. I’m trying to transfer the information from the G drive to the new Mac.

How do I transfer information from my G drive to my new MacBook Air?

When you say backed up do you mean as a Time machine or something else? Need to be TM if using setup Assistant.
