Phone Battery won’t charge

I have an IPhone 6s, the Battery won't charge. Screen shows red bar to the far right on battery symbol. It’s been plugged into the charger for over a day and I still get the same icon (see photo).

Anyone know how I can turn my phone back on?

iPhone 6s won't charge Hi - my iPhone 6s won't charge up. Whe I connect to a charger, I get the correct charging icon but no matter how long i leave it, it won't charge enough to switch on. I have tried removig fluff from the port andusing a different charger and cable ut this makes no difference. The obvious ansewr is that the battery has failed - but it was only replaced 18 months ago or so (by Apple). Should a battery fail this soon? Any other ideas?
