I do hope you got my file via e-mail.

Since then:

I told my problem for the manufacturer of the SSD and got this answer:

Thank you for getting back to me, I really appreciate it! Regrettably your model MacBook Air 6,1 is not compatible with Windows/BootCamp. We state it on our site of the SSD on the main product page:

Note: Not compatible with Apple Boot Camp when installed in the following hosts: MacBookPro11,1; MacBookAir6,1; MacBookAir6,2; iMac15,1 (Late 2014); iMac18,2; iMac18,3; iMac19,1; iMac19,2

If you have anymore questions, comments or concerns please reply to this email and I'll gladly assist you further!

Thank you for contacting OWC, have a great day!

Sincerely,

Cicely B.

You assume right.

I have now tried VirtualBox and even Crossover. None of them are understandable to me. I have tried reading the manual, but that in itself was the most complicated.

I came so far as to the black window (=the other machine, I gather), in which was stated:

"FATAL: No bootable medium found. System halted."

Now is time to go to bed. Good night (or morning for you?)

These are screen shots to install Windows 10 using VirtualBox.

  • Create a new Virtual Machine. Click on Machine -> New.

  • Create a Virtual Hard Disk for the VM

  • Choose the hard disk type to be a VMDK

  • Make the disk dynamically allocatable

  • Choose the size of the disk as necessary. If you have enough disk space, choose about 128GB

  • Choose the boot disk.

  • Select the Windows ISO and choose Start.

and you should see this screen...

It probably would have, had I not already tested it by myself.

Now I followed you distinctly, but I wanted to erase my first Windows, even if it didn't-t work as it should. This was not done, I couldn't find out how.

So I did New Windows instead and was stopped on my product key. I have that nearby, so I didn't write it wrongly. Microsoft has probably registered my failed attempt; my produce key was alright then, I think.

Titlevision is open, but I seem to have forgotten much. That i expected.

More installation stuff, first. I have got four different program windows, or desktops, of which two are Windows 10. One of them totally black, the other with Windows and Titlevision. Now, my Windows doesn't feel the USB connections of this computer. I have tested with a exFAT USB. How do I make Windows reachable in both directions?

Good.

Do you want to post a screen shot and I can help identify these?

To support external device pass-through from the Mac to the VirtualBox VM, you will need to Install

  • Click on Install
  • Check VirtualBox -> Preferences -> Extensions and you should see...

Back for a while.

You wanted to see the program windows or desktops. Sometimes there are four, now they are only two. I understand it is a way, when the user uses too many applications at the same time. Annoying, anyway.

I am presently working with a comeback on Titlevision, which I have in front of me. There's much I have forgotten. But I would like to get a much bigger Windows screen without distortions. I enclose a picture of what it looks like now, if the image insertion works for more than one picture.

Actually I am rather pleased with this result. I didn't find any automatic adaption to my screen but moved Windows here and there, until a circle was almost a circle. Up and down is full screen, apart from that I have a cinemascope screen, which Bootcamp gladly and fully used without distortions, even double screens. Now as it is, I am glad if I can work with it like this.

But I have to get my picture and film material somehow. Haven't managed to make my Windows see any USB sticks.
