No text sound from only one contact

I get alerts when I have a text message from everyone but one contact. I am wondering why.

We understand that you're not being notified when a specific contact sends you a message. It sounds like you may have Hide Alerts enabled in Messages for this contact. Check out the steps you can take to check outlined here under "Turn on Hide Alerts": Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
