is there anyone experiencing issues using the shazam or soundhound app on ios 14.7.1?

I have been noticing an issue with my Shazam and Soundhound app after upgrading to ios 14.7.1. I usually listen to an app called myTuner and listen it through a bluetooth speaker. Whenever I hear a song playing through th speaker and I need to get more information on the song, I open my Shazam app for the app to listen to the song from my bluetooth speaker.

But, I noticed that when I open the Shazam app, the song speed slows down by maybe about 20% and Shazam could not search for any information, it al\ways ask me to "try again". This is the same issue with Soundhound.

If I use my computer and open myTuner through their website and play any song through the computer speaker, then open up Shazam app on my phone, there is no issue with Shazam and the song speed remains the same.

So opening up the Shazam app and opening myTuner app at the same time on my phone might be an issue with the new ios version. Anyone experience the same issue?

Hello 3019paul,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, when you open the Shazam app, the song speed slows down by maybe about 20% and Shazam is unable to search for any information, it aways asks to try again. We'd like to help!

Have you tried deleting the Shazam app and reinstalling it?

If that step doesn't work then we recommend contacting the app developers.
