I am an administrator who manages devices for my company using JAMF MDM. When an employee leaves the company, I place a lock on their device until it is cleared by HR. Unfortunately for one of such device, I locked the lock code so the device is stock in locked screen and can not be unlocked using the MDM.
Is there a way I can get apple store to unlock the device?
Yeah we have all the ownership documentation and can even send a letter from the company. The problem is apple store in Nigeria is saying they are unable to do anything about it :(
I don't think the store can do anything. Review the information at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201441. I believe you can try to start a request online.
Probably with proper ownership documentation.
Which button did you use to lock the device? You can simply lock the device, enable lost mode, set activation lock, and wipe the device.
(also, since the command was sent with Jamf, you may also consider asking on the JamfNation forums)
